The battery powered saw, with electric brake, incorporates Makita’s Extreme Protection Technology which has been engineered for improved dust and water resistance for operation in harsh job site conditions.
The protective cover above the 15 cm long saw blade moves as you cut deeper into the branches. Your hand is extra protected by the plastic handrail. The chain has been specially developed for battery chainsaws. It cuts longer and longer due to its unique design.
With a maximum chain speed of 8.00m/s, the saw has a gauge of 1.1mm and pitch of 0.325”. The bar is 150mm with a chain that can be easily replaced.
